Frankfurt/Kelkheim. At ROTHENBERGER plastic pipe shears are subject to the highest quality demands. At the ISH 2009, pipe tool specialists will present the ROCUT shear product line with its many new advantages.

In the new plastic shears ROCUT from ROTHENBERGER you’ll find the famous “Made in Germany” quality with knife blades from Solingen. These guarantee a clean and straight cut, especially during installations when cutting conventional plastic pipes. The cutting range of the ROCUT standard shears is more than adequate for pipe diameters up to 42 millimeters, whereas the ROCUT professional shears are able to cut pipes with a diameter up to 75 millimeters. New in the product line is the ROCUT TC 63 which is especially suitable for cutting PVC and PE-PP pipes up to a diameter of 63 millimeters.

The Teflon® coated, rust-free steel blade with V-edge, provides pin-point precision. The optimum V-formed pipe support assures accurate, right-angled cutting without deformation.  Thanks to the structural unity between double-sided blade and ratchet, a precise pressure transfer and a guided cutter feed are guaranteed. The minimal effort needed to cut is the result of the ideally meshed cutting curve.

Due to the use of a durable aluminium body, precise operation and long service life with professional use is guaranteed. In addition, the release lever provides a controlled opening of the blade with just one push of a button, while the rubberized handle offers a reliable hold. Furthermore, the shear arms can be locked into position for transport.
