60 years ROTHENBERGER – New TEC CENTER opens

Frankfurt/Kelkheim. In the 60 years of its company history, ROTHENBERGER has enjoyed the reputation as a company with ground-breaking innovation for handwork and industry, as well as a healthy, endurable growth, from which many regional locations have profited. With the opening of the TEC Center (Transparency Efficiency Competence Center) last year, ROTHENBERGER created a whole new company center point, where innovation, communication, presentation and training have a new home – on a national and international level.

Starting in the late 50’s, ROTHENBERGER revolutionized the pipe connecting world with its ROCAM Expander. With the R-system tools, ROTHENBERGER handed the craftsman for an integrated system in which, for the first time, everything worked together perfectly. The technology for the fitting-less pipe connection through pressing has been advanced and perfected by ROTHENBERGER.

During times of economic instability, family businesses with a focus on sustain-ability take on an even more important roll. Instead of short-term maximization, long-term investments and responsible actions are the focal point – benefiting locations, regions and people.

Even during international expansion, ROTHENBERGER has never lost touch with its roots, which is reflected in the over 10 percent apprenticeship rate.

As the idea for the TEC Center first took shape, one of the top priorities was the desire to create a company center where all of the main activates of the ROTHENBERGER group could be concentrated. Research and development would be brought closer to the production, so that the needs of the market could be reacted to quicker.

In addition, a place to meet across borders, to actively exchange technological information with customers, a place of innovation and transparency.

All of this is found within an architecture that impresses with its round forms, light-filled spaces and a perfect symbiosis between function and aesthetic, thereby perfectly representing the self-image of the ROTHENBERGER Group: here the market leadership for modern piping tools, machines and environmental tech-nology can be seen and experienced.

The successfully product trainings that have been held up until now will be expanded this year to include an offer for end users of our premium tools. With our cooperation partners, competence seminars will be held. Furthermore, pipe manufactures can use this platform to offer, together with instructors from ROTHENBERGER, seminars with added value. The expanded trainings program will cater to all those who come into contact with pipe processing.
