ISH 2007: ROTHENBERGER press technology more compact than ever
Frankfurt/Kelkheim. New products from the press technology area announced by ROTHENBERGER. The tool specialist is presenting the new lightweight of the presses with the ROMAX Compact Pressliner, which also stands out thanks to its exceptional speed. In addition, with the new press rings ROTHENBERGER has placed increased emphasis on safety and ease of operation when pressing fittings in cramped installation situations.
It´s handy, compact and particularly quick when pressing. Thanks to its ergonomic tubular shape, the ROMAX Compact at only 2.5 kilos offers the best conditions for operation in constrained positions such as pressing in installation situations that are not easily accessible. An important product feature here is the press clamp retainer which can be rotated by 270° facilitating simple operation in all locations. Further numerous product properties ensure fatigue-free and therefore effective operation: the small, light compact press clamps, a balanced distribution of the weight of the machine with press clamp attached, a touch switch for a quick start-up of the forced pressing, the ergonomic position of the handle at the centre of gravity of the machine and the automatic return of the piston. The guaranteed constant axial shearing force of the CFT technology, an integrated LED service display for checking the charging condition of the battery and the inspection intervals and the easily accessible emergency stop switch guarantee high pressing reliability.
