HVAC craftsmen have the knack of it with PLASTICUT
New pipe cutters from ROTHENBERGER
Frankfurt/Kelkheim. ROTHENBERGER demonstrates yet again its innovation willingness in the field of plastic pipe cutting technology at the ISH 2009: in comparison to conventional shears and saws, the new PLASTICUT from ROTHENBERGER offers a multitude of key features.
Where up until now time-consuming sawing or cutting were necessary, the PLASTICUT guarantees effortless and fast cutting of plastic pipes made of materials such as MDPE, PE, PP and HEP20 with only one or two rotations – which means valuable working time is saved. Additionally, the flexible casing allows the cutting of small pipes from various manufactures with diameters as small as 10 millimeters.
The application is simple: PLASTICUT is simply clicked onto the pipe, gently pressed closed, and then turned around the pipe. The self-clamping and self-alignment provide a reliable, accurate cut and prevent the deformation of the pipe. With its ergonomic form and small space requirement, this pipe cutter is ideally suited for hard-to-reach places. Spare blades are also available as an accessory.
