Air conditioning expertise centres liven things up in the sanitation, heating and refrigeration trade

Kelkheim. Air conditioning technology from the specialist is gaining ground, as shown by the constantly growing demand. ROTHENBERGER is taking another step forwards with the nationwide implementation of air conditioning expertise centres. In close cooperation with specialised dealers, drop-in centres are being created for craftsmen in the sanitation, heating and refrigeration industry, who have recognised the market potential of air conditioning technology and would like to establish a new business area in this sector.

The professional range of air conditioning products presents itself clearly arranged and with the aim of attracting attention on the market.

The growth in the air conditioning technology sector is in a two-digit range per annum and the market potential is large in view of the fact that for example only 30 per cent of all shops, offices and hotel rooms and only two per cent of all private households have air conditioning. In addition, it is the heat pumps which are continuing to gain in importance and the air conditioning technology has consequently long ceased to be seasonal business. Thus, ROTHENBERGER has already implemented 20 air conditioning expertise centres in the market since the middle of this year, which give sound advice to workshops in selecting and putting into operation tools and installations and inform about start-up opportunities and current market conditions and statutory provisions. In order that time is not lost unnecessarily, the air conditioning tool is available immediately from local specialised dealers. In addition, the air conditioning specialists from ROTHENBERGER are on hand to support the craftsmen via a hotline with information and technical advice.

Newcomers amongst the craftsmen in the sanitation, heating and refrigeration industry have the option of gaining qualifications via the air conditioning expertise centres by means of expert knowledge seminars in accordance with the Chemicals – Ozone Layer Regulation and Chemicals - Climate Protection Ordinance. With the acquisition of the expert knowledge, the workshop can make its mark as a competent sanitation, heating and refrigeration business and expand its range of services without being dependent on external service providers.

Active support of the trade
ROTHENBERGER and the specialised dealers are standing up together for the success of the craftsmen in the sanitation, heating and refrigeration industry. For example, information days with product presentations and information on the legal situation will be held regularly in the air conditioning expertise centres from the first quarter of 2009.
