Job profile
The scope of duties of a specialist for warehouse logistics include the planning, organisation and implementation of all processes and procedures required for receipt of goods, storage and shipping. In this regard, detailed product knowledge is just as important as the effective use of technical resources.

Requirements
Good leaving certificate from a secondary school or high school diploma
Interest in a business and manual profession

Training period
3 years (reduced to 2 1/2 years in the case of proficiency ) with intermediate school certificate
2 1/2 years (reduced to 2 years in the case of proficiency ) with high school diploma

Training locations
Various departments in material management, as well as other training departments at ROTHENBERGER
Vocational school: lessons on 1 1/2 days per week in the Stauffenberg School in Frankfurt
Final examination held by the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) Frankfurt

Training content

  • Receipt of goods
  • Processing and checking of shipping documents
  • Recognition and recording of defects and damage in and to accepted goods
  • Storage of goods taking into account product-specific and storage-specific requirements
  • Taking into stock of goods Order picking and packing of goods and processing their dispatch
  • Planning and organisation of logistic processes Safety at work, environmental protection
  • Dealing with work equipment (installations, machines, devices, tools for transport, conveying and packaging)
