IT specialist - focussing on system integration

Job profile
As an IT specialist focussing on system integration, you will implement subject-specific requirements in complex hardware and software systems. Your area of responsibilities will include analysing, planning and implementing information and telecommunications systems. In the process, you will introduce new or modified information technology and be available to the users and customers for technical advice, support and training.

Requirements
Good leaving certificate from a secondary school
Interest

- in analytical, abstract and systematic thinking
- in economic relationships and organisational problems in dealing with  computers and their peripheral equipment
- in developing new solutions
- in providing people with advice

Training period
3 years (reduced to 2 1/2 years in the case of proficiency) with intermediate school certificate
2 1/2 years (reduced to 2 years in the case of proficiency) with high school diploma

All departments of ROTHENBERGER Werkzeuge GmbH
Vocational school: block release at the Georg-Kreschensteiner School in Bad Homburg v.d. Höhe
Final examination held by the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) Frankfurt, this is divided into two parts (project work and examination)

  • Use of project planning, execution and control methods
  • Debugging with use of expert and diagnostics systems
