IT Specialist - focussing on application development

Job profile
Using your technical, business management and organisational talents, you will analyse IT problems and develop solutions for individual customer needs. Within the scope of your projects you will also provide advice, support and user training. In this profession, you should enjoy being in contact with customers, since your field of activity also includes project responsibility, providing advice and attending trade fairs. As an IT specialist you will have a responsible job, as customers and your company depend on you.

Requirements
Good leaving certificate from a secondary school
Interest

Training period
3 years (reduced to 2 1/2 years in the case of proficiency) with intermediate school certificate
2 1/2 years (reduced to 2 years in the case of proficiency) with high school diploma

Vocational school: block release at the Georg-Kreschensteiner School in Bad Homburg v.d. Höhe
Final examination held by the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) Frankfurt, this is divided into two parts (project work and examination)
