New digital aid for technicians facilitates handling

ROTHENBERGER, the tool specialist for the HVAC industry, is now catering for even more efficiency during commissioning and maintenance of air conditioning equipment and heat pumps: a digital aid for technicians with practical improvements and functional enhancements is new on the market.

New from ROTHENBERGER: the digital aid for technicians provides a universal range of application possibilities in the area of air conditioning technology.

According to Frank Schrick, managing director of marketing and sales, “ROTHENBERGER intends to accommodate the rising demand in the future market of refrigeration engineering and air conditioning technology with this product refinement ”. In doing so, it is precisely efficient handling that plays an important part.

Contrary to simple aids for technicians, the digital aid checks the function of the refrigeration cycle automatically, reliably and quickly. The manometric and thermometric temperature measurement is carried out in one step. Excessive heat and refrigeration respectively are indicated immediately. Hence, simple and precise commissioning and maintenance are possible. The simplified method of reading off the digital display also makes a contribution here. 

Whereas the use of an additional vacuum gauge was necessary for the aids hitherto, the current vacuum level can be observed reliably during commissioning using the new, pre-fitted vacuum sensor. A T-piece with a Schrader valve caters for the simultaneous connection of the vacuum and filling hose to the cooling agent bottle.
Due to more than 60 cooling agents stored in the electronic circuit, the new measuring device is able to provide a universal range of possible applications.

The aid for technicians has been encased in a rubber cover in order to protect it from damage.  In addition, the device is available as a complete set in a protective plastic case.
